Wat Phra That Haripunchai Woramahawihan
One of the most beautiful attraction in Lamphun, Wat Phra That Hariphunchai's earliest origins date to 897. The present compound dates from 1044. The temple houses three 15th-century Lanna Buddha. Near the wihan is a library of 19th-century origin. The library or Hortrai is similar to the one at Wat Phra Singh in Chiang Mai. The Lanna style stupa is covered with Djungo gold. Also near the wihan is a large bronze gong. At the back of wihan is the museum, where historical pieces of this temple are kept as the references.
